ASCEND Prime Steak + Sushi – Lincoln Square, Bellevue, WA 

Guests are first introduced to the lounge, where they are warmly greeted by a pair of fire pits. One can take a seat there in the lounge, or at one of the bars flanking the entry, a cocktail bar, and a sushi bar. On the way to their seats, diners will ascend along a spectacular forty-eight-feet of wine display, and past a golden exhibition kitchen, organized around a spectacular woodfire grill. This exhibition kitchen is the sparkle of Ascend. The various cuts of meat found on the menu are on display here, whether on cleavers in custom coolers, or searing on the grill. Once seated, the general design of the restaurant has been kept modern and low key, emphasizing the vistas that showcase the natural beauty of the setting. Guests will quickly discover that there are no bad seats. Diners will have commanding views of Seattle, or downtown Bellevue, or Mt. Rainier, etc. The main dining room has tiered seating, ensuring that even diners at the back of the room have magnificent views. Hovering above the dining space is a canopy made of tree root balls. These are from species of trees native to the area and range in sizes, some of which exceed eight feet across! The plan has been organized to take advantage of its perch, the penthouse atop the high-rise at Lincoln Square. The kitchen was tucked in the center of the plan, allowing the dining areas to live at the perimeter, thus creating picturesque 360° views around the restaurant.  Without a doubt, this designed space has been carefully planned to be in concert with the menu, service, & view for an enlightened experience like no other.
