Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse – Sunset Station Hotel & Casino, Las Vegs, NV

This design evokes a vibe that it must have once been a wine cellar. But this cellar has been taken out from the ordinary dark-and-gloomy stereotype and reimagined in a lighter palette and feel. Once inside, guests step into an airy dining space, lined with arcades and alcoves, which provide surprises around every corner. Classic features are invigorated with a modern touch. Heavy, rich woods are contrasted against light stone and plaster surfaces. Classic coffered ceilings are illuminated by whimsical wine glass themed chandeliers. The streamlined modern bar makes a strong statement against the old-world environment it resides in. Bottles are presented on a sleek stepped bottle display which facilitates the signature cocktails and exclusive vintages served there. After entering through a wrought-iron gate, guests step into an intimate private dining room. Brick adorns the ceiling and walls, and framed beveled-mirrors fill arched niches in the room.
